Functional Areas
The functional areas of Oracle WebCenter Collaboration, which appear
as tabbed project pages, are:
- Calendar
- Task Lists
- Documents
- Discussions
- Wiki
- Blog
If you have not loaded the complete set of Oracle WebCenter Collaboration
portlets, you can manually adjust the tabs that appear in the application
view. For example, if you have decided not to use the Community Calendar
portlet, you can remove the Calendar functional area so that the Calendar
tab does not display in the application view.
NOTE: Either Community
Discussions or Community Discussion Messages cause the Discussions
tab to display. Similarly, the Community Tasks cause the Task tab to display.
Select the functional areas whose portlets are loaded on your
community page, and clear the check boxes for the functional areas you
do not want to display. If a functional area has content associated with
it, you cannot hide its tab (its check box is disabled).
