Announcement Editor

As a Project Leader A role in Collaboration. A user in the project leader role has read/write access to all Collaboration objects and can perform all actions related to the objects. This role can set access levels and permissions for user roles in the project., you can post announcements A mechanism for communicating important information to you and other project users. Posted and managed by Project Leaders. that appear in the Overview of the Oracle WebCenter Collaboration application view and the Announcement portlets. Project Members A role in Collaboration. A user in the Project Member role can view project objects and can perform many key actions related to objects used manage projects. or Project Guests A role in Collaboration. A user in the Project Guest role can view project objects and can reply to messages. cannot respond to announcements; announcements are simply a way to convey important news to all project users.

In personal projects, announcements are known as notes Available in personal projects only. Notes can serve as a reminder to yourself or as a personal to-do list.. For more information on creating notes, see Note Editor.
