The Properties page of the Folder Editor allows you to set or change the name and the description of a folder and assign moderators to the folder.
Configure the following properties for the folder:

Type no more than 49 characters to name the folder. |
Description |
Optional. Type no more than 1,000 characters to describe the folder. The description appears in the heading of the details pane Lower right section of the application view. You can view details and descriptions (if provided) of items selected in the table pane. You can also perform various actions, such as notifying others about the document you uploaded or subscribing to a discussion. when the folder is selected in the table pane Upper right section of the application view. The table pane displays all objects contained in the node you selected in the navigation tree. You can also view detailed information about the objects in the table pane by selecting the check box next to the item. Detailed information appears on the details pane.. |

Moderators can approve or reject documents. Moderators with Admin access
to a folder can edit documents before approving them. If you want to assign,
change, or remove moderators for the folder, click Documents posted in moderated folder do not appear to users unless approved by the moderator. Moderators, however, can see these unapproved documents marked in red. Accessible to Content Crawlers |
Available to Project Leaders only. Select to make the contents of the folder -- including the contents of all of its subfolders -- visible to Oracle WebCenter Collaboration content crawlers for importing into the Knowledge Directory. By default, this check box is selected. When this folder is inaccessible to content crawlers, its contents can still be manually published to the Knowledge Directory. |
Custom Properties |
Available if your administrator has enabled custom properties. Add or edit custom properties for documents in this folder. To add a custom property to all documents in this folder:

As an optional step, click the Security tab to configure who can access this folder.
Click Finish when you are done configuring the folder.
