The Display Settings page lets you define your own pagination preferences and set display mode options.
This topic discusses:
Explorer Pagination
Display Mode
Under Explorer Pagination you define pagination preferences for Oracle WebCenter Collaboration explorers, which appear after you click the Explorer link inside a portlet.
When you choose Enable pagination, you must also choose a selection from the Rows per page drop-down list, which determines how many rows appear on one page in an Oracle WebCenter Collaboration explorer. Choosing a lower number of rows per page facilitates the faster loading of explorers.
When you clear the Enable pagination check box, you disable pagination for Oracle WebCenter Collaboration explorers, resulting in all rows of an Oracle WebCenter Collaboration explorer appearing on one page. When pagination is disabled, you cannot make a selection from the Rows per page drop-down list.
By default, pagination is enabled for all browsers. The default rows per page is 15.
Under Display Mode, choose from:
Standard: Provides full functionality of the Oracle WebCenter Collaboration user interface.
Simple: Provides reduced functionality, but faster loading, of the Oracle WebCenter Collaboration user interface.
By default, the display mode is Standard for all supported browsers except for Safari. In Safari the display settings options are visible, although you cannot choose Standard mode.
