The General Settings page of the Project Editor allows you to set or modify project settings such as project name and status.
You can create a new project based on a template or from scratch. After you create a project, you can modify its general settings. Click Finish after you are done configuring the project settings.

Template-based projects with date-shifting methods only. Indicates the base date of the template. This information comes from the template on which you are basing your project. Oracle WebCenter Collaboration uses this when copying dates from the template to your new project. The template base day can be changed in the General Settings Editor of the project template. |

methods only. Specify when your project
should begin. Click Click date-shift calculator to determine how dates will be shifted when you create a project based on a project template. |

Project Size |
To enforce a maximum size for the project, select the Enforce a maximum project size check box and type a number in megabytes. Uploading a document fails if the project size exceeds the maximum limit. If you have the Manage Collaboration Projects activity right, you can set a project size that exceeds the system-wide maximum set by your administrator. You will receive a warning notifying you that the number exceeds the project-wide maximum but the change will be saved. If you do not have the Manage Collaboration Projects activity right, you cannot set a project size that exceeds the maximum project size set by your administrator. If you want the Project Leaders to be notified when the project size exceeds a certain level, select Notify Project Leaders when project size exceeds _% of the maximum size. |
