A notification link is a system-generated URL that you can send to recipients of your choosing. The text body of the Notification Link tab includes two links:
After clicking on the first link, the recipient is sent to the object from which you clicked Notify.
Click Create, which launches your default email client. The body of the email includes both notification links. You can edit this email before sending it.
Copy and paste the notification link:
Select then copy the contents of the Notification Link text box by simultaneously pressing the CTRL (Control) key and C key on your keyboard.
Create a new email in your desktop email editor.
Paste the URL in your email editor by simultaneously pressing the CTRL (Control) key and V key on your keyboard.
After you have sent the link, click Finish.
To send a notification link without using the Notify dialog box, navigate to the object for which you want to send a notification link and click Copy to Clipboard. You can then paste the notification link directly into your email editor.
