A wiki is a collection of pages that contain content that can be added or updated by project users. Page versions keep prior content saved when new content is added.

Like other explorers in the application view, the Wiki explorer has a hierarchical navigation tree A tree of subfolders in the navigation pane of the application view. To view the contents of the navigation tree on the table pane, click on a node or folder in the navigation tree., a common tool bar with buttons that change according to the permission level of the user, a table pane Upper right section of the application view. The table pane displays all objects contained in the node you selected in the navigation tree. You can also view detailed information about the objects in the table pane by selecting the check box next to the item. Detailed information appears on the details pane., and a details pane Lower right section of the application view. You can view details and descriptions (if provided) of items selected in the table pane. You can also perform various actions, such as notifying others about the document you uploaded or subscribing to a discussion..
If you have a limited permission level, you cannot see all the buttons in the action bar. In addition, until you have selected a wiki page, some buttons are grayed out and disabled.
To view a wiki page, click the page in the navigation tree or in the table pane.
To apply actions to a specific wiki page, such as editing content, viewing a previous revision of the page, or reverting to a previous revision of a page, select the wiki in the navigation tree then select the wiki page in the table pane Upper right section of the application view. The table pane displays all objects contained in the node you selected in the navigation tree. You can also view detailed information about the objects in the table pane by selecting the check box next to the item. Detailed information appears on the details pane. first. If you do not select a wiki page, the buttons in the action bar remains grayed out.
To unselect a wiki page, clear the check box to the left of the wiki page.

The table pane displays the following information about the pages in the wiki. To sort the pages by the information in a column, click the column heading.

Name of the wiki page. To view the page, click its name. |

Name of the user who created the wiki page. |

The date the wiki page was created. |
Lasts Author |
Name of the user who last edited the wiki page. |

The date the wiki page was last edited. |

The number of the latest revision. |
Views |
The number of times the wiki page has been viewed by users. |
If a button is disabled, you either do not have permission to perform the action or the action does not apply to the selected object. For more information on permission levels, see the Permission Matrix.

Create a new wiki page. For step-by-step instructions on how to create and configure a wiki page, see Wiki Page Editor. Only users with Write access rights to the project can create a wiki page. |

Change the content of a wiki page. First select a wiki page. Only users with Write access rights to the project can edit a wiki page. |

Project Leaders only. Delete a wiki page. First select a wiki page. Only users with Admin access rights can delete a wiki page. Note: When you delete a wiki page, it is deleted permanently. It is not placed in the project recycle bin. |
To view the details pane for the wiki, click the project name (the top
node) in the navigation tree.

Subscribe to all wiki pages in the project. You will receive an immediate notification email when a wiki page is created or deleted in the project. To receive notification when a wiki page is updated, subscribe to the specific wiki page. For more information on notification events, see About Notification Events. To receive summary notification emails for all wiki pages in the project, mouse over the Subscribe button and select Summary email. If your administrator has enabled RSS feeds, you can mouse over the Subscribe button and select RSS to add the RSS feed for all wiki pages in the project to your personal RSS feed. Use the Subscription Explorer to configure your summary notification email frequency or to receive more than one type of notification for wiki pages. |

Unsubscribe from all wiki pages in the project. You will stop receiving all types of notification when wiki pages are created, updated, or deleted in the project. |

To view the details pane for a wiki page, select the wiki page in the navigation tree.
The pane above the details pane action bar displays the title of the wiki page, the name of the user that created or last modified the page, the date and time the page was created or last modified, and any discussions or documents attached to the wiki page.
To view an attached discussion or document, click its name.
To remove an attached discussion or document,
click to the right
of the discussion or document. The discussion or document will not be
deleted from the project.
